Camp Yoga for Tweens & Teens

Perfect for back-to-school! Camp Yoga for Tweens & Teens is a 3-day class designed to teach yoga and mindfulness tools to young people in a non-intimidating and fun atmosphere! Campers will be introduced to yoga and mindfulness basics, learning about breath techniques, mantras, and various meditation strategies, as well as participating in some fun hands-on projects and creative play! Instruction and activities will be adjusted for age and skill in each session. 

Through this fun class, campers will gain:

  • improved self awareness and confidence
  • increased self- esteem and body acceptance
  • improved attention and focus
  • improved strength and flexibility
  • better coping skills for managing emotions
  • better management of stress through relaxation techniques

Instructor Michele Brandt holds a 200 hour RYT certification and training in Mindfulness meditation from Kind Yoga School and teaches through The Yoga Collaborative, Inner Peace Yoga Therapy and Wellness Center, and Heels Over Head Yoga. She speciailizes in Hatha Yoga (vinyasa), Aerial, breath techniques, and mindfulness meditation.
