with Holly Dunlea ADULTS
6 classes, Tuesdays, Jan 9-Feb 13
You know those ads on television that are written as poems, and you listen to the rhythm of the words, wishing you had been that author? Or are you the person who loves to write poems but you want to go in a new direction, wherever that may be? Perhaps you are stuck in a rut, and even though you are a good writer, no one seems to understand your poems. Or maybe you have never let someone READ your poems, and the only one who has heard your work is your cat.
Workshopping can be a little scary. Don’t worry. Meeting of the Minds is a welcoming, friendly class with optional challenges. If you're not comfortable reading your work to the group, you are still invited to listen and comment on other members' poetry and talk about poetry in general. No worries. This workshop may be the outlet you need to break loose and not only enjoy writing but also enjoy presenting it.
As the leader of the workshop, it will be my responsibility to encourage and challenge the individual members. I can’t wait to meet you and begin our collaboration!
