with Jo Brisbane ADULTS
monthly, last Sunday
Calling all theatre wonks, on (mostly) the last Sundays of (almost) every month! We’re going to haul out the classics and re-cast across gender, age, and other imaginary lines. We’re going to dig up the “subversive” plays of the past and present and see how dangerous they really are. We will read excerpts of all kinds of plays, from Shakespeare to Brecht to Charles Busch to Megan Terry. We may even sing previously-forbidden Broadway tunes. Everyone can be anyone. A monthly theatre experiment/deep dive/party. BYO snacks or supper.
last or next-to-last Sundays of the month, April-November
5:00pm - 8:00pm in the Art Studio
July 22 (penultimate Sunday)
September 23 (penultimate Sunday)

Her poems and prose have been featured in The Provincetown Library's Provincetown Press and she has been a finalist in both the 2016 and 2017 WOMR Joe Gouveia Outermost Poetry Contests. She believes in the power of live theatre and the need to wear safety goggles.
